A. Paul Vance was born on July 22, 1919 in Zalma, Missouri, the son of Ben and Adelia Vance, and passed away on March 4, 2012 at his residence, The Flying V Ranch on the Castor River, at the age of 92 years.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sue Vance of 62 years, one son Dennis Paul Vance, one daughter Rebecca Sue Vance, five (5) sisters Fern, Frieda, Helen, Pearl, and Jeanie, and three (3) brothers Tom, Luke, and Gerald.
Paul is survived by three (3) sons Michael (Jean) Vance of St. Louis, Missouri, Terry (Carol) Vance of Burlington, Iowa, and Robin Vance of Fredericktown, Missouri, a special friend Lori Knight of Fredericktown, Missouri, and one sister Myra E. "Mickey" Abernathy of St. Louis, Missouri. Also ten (10) grandchildren and twenty-two (22) great grandchildren.
Paul attended Calvary Temple Church and enjoyed flying, cattle, and the Castor River.
