Alfred "Al" Gross was born February 21, 1930 at Carmi, Illinois the son of Sherman & Maggie (Dillard) Gross and passed away on March 30, 2016 at his residence in Fredericktown at the age of 86 years.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Two (2) brothers Clyde & Cecil Gross.
Alfred married Nina (Hale) Gross on September 1, 1950 at Pocahontas, Arkansas who preceded him in death.
He later married Helen (Mills Griffon) Gross on May 14, 2011 at Fredericktown who survives.
Al is also survived by Two (2) daughters Wanda Lindsey & Barbara (Joe) Skiles. Two grandchildren & Five (5) great grandchildren. Two (2) step children Lori Myers & Dawn Gipson. Nine (9) step-grandchildren & Ten (10) great grandchildren. Three (3) sisters Noni Seely of Flint, Michigan, Mable Foss of Alton, Illinois & Eva Smith of Alton, Illinois.
Al attended God's Country Cowboy Church and enjoyed Church, camping, fishing, music, tractors, cars and trucks.
