Anita H. Henson was born on May 22, 1933, in Higdon, MO, the daughter of Agustus and Nellie (Keelin) Shaw, and passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 93.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles E. (Wendy) Henson, who she married on May 12, 1950, one (1) granddaughter, six (6) sisters and three (3) brothers.

Anita is survived by one (1) son, Dennis Charles (Sue) Henson, one (1) daughter, Angela Renae (Ivan) Sikes, four (4) grandchildren and six (6) great-grandchildren.

Anita was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ at church and quilt making.

Anita was the co-owner and founder of Henson Real Estate that was located on S. Main Street, Fredericktown, MO for many years along with her husband Wendy Henson.
