Anna Jane Spain was born August 24, 1932 at Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of Ruby Hazel (Whitener) and Curtis Bartrug and passed away on March 28, 2024 at Fredericktown at the age of 91 years.

Anna Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jesse M. Spain who she married on August 25, 1956 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, a son Cedric Spain and brother David Spain and sister Irene Gipson.

Anna Jane is survived by a son Daniel Spain of Lytle, Texas, daughters Becky Toppins of Fredericktown and Julie Mason of Freeport, Florida. One brother Darrell Spain of Jackson, Missouri. Fourteen (14) grandchildren and sixteen (16) great grandchildren.

Anna Jane was a member of Twelve Mile Baptist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, working on the farm reading the Bible or getting A "cold one" at McDonald's or Scoops
