Avery Fay Carmack was born April 15, 1932 the son of Jess and Mary Dixie (Walker) Carmack in Coldwater, Missouri and passed away on Friday January 16, 2009 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Avery was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) brother Elvis Carmack, and two (2) sisters Jewell Carmack and Narene Simpson.
Avery is survived by his wife Mary Helen (Bratcher) Carmack whom he married on August 10, 1957 in Tunica, Mississippi his son Delbert Carmack of Warner Robbins, Georgia one (1) brother Edward Carmack of Maryland Heights, Missouri and one (1) sister Nadene Haggar of Louisiana.
Avery was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.
Visitation will be held at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home after 5:00 P.M. on Monday January 19, 2009.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Mills Officiating.
Interment will be held at the Coldwater Methodist Cemetery.
