Barbara Jean Powell was born on August 18, 1959, at Fredericktown, the daughter of Edgar Levi and Virginia Bernice Hamblin, and passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 64 years.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents.

Barb is survived by her two (2) sons, Christopher Powell, Jonathon Powell, three (3) siblings, Melvin (Kathy) Hamblin, Debra (Richard) Lamb, and Donald Hamblin.

Barb was of the Christian Faith, and she enjoyed caring for and helping raise many of the kids from Fredericktown, sometimes more than one generation, tending her flowers around her house, and spending time with her family and friends.

Memorials in memory of Barbara Powell may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
