Barbara Sikes was born on December 30, 1933, at Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Harmon and Norma (Green) Hovis, and passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 91 years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Charles Sikes, who she married on March 23, 1956, at Fredericktown, her parents, and one (1) brother, David Hovis.

Barbara is survived by one (1) son, Kenneth Dale (Sherri) Sikes, one (1) brother, Dennis (Pat) Hovis, one (1) sister, Kay (Dag) Rehkop, one (1) grandchild, Andrew (Courtney) Sikes, and one (1) great-granddaughter, Gracie Sikes.

Barbara was of the Baptist Faith, and attended First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, and she enjoyed mowing her yard and her family.
