Barry Jones was born on July 16, 1941 at Middlebrook, Missouri the son of William and Emma (Anderson) Jones and passed away on May 30, 2025 at Ironton, Missouri at the age of 83 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim Jones, Stanley Jones, Warren Jones, Maynard Jones, Joyce Crews, Jane Lawson, June Ward, Juetta Casteel, Jinny Lewis, William Jones, and Gary Jones.

Barry is survived by his wife Linda (Miller) Jones whom he was united in marriage to on September 2, 1967 at Banner, Missouri; one son Calvin (Kim) Jones, two daughters Sondra (Clint) Randolph and Anita (Robert) Gamblin; one sister Judy Neighbors; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed playing music, teaching music lessons, and always said the more grandkids and family around, the better!

Barry spent 45 years in the music ministry and was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Mid-America Gospel Music Association in 2010.
