Bertha Sylvesta Holland was born November 10, 1920 at Saco, Missouri the daughter of Hugh and Velma (Shafer) Stevens and passed away on October 5, 2011 at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of 90.

Bertha was married to Lyman Vandergriff and to this union two sons and one daughter were born; Harry Vandergriff and Dorothy Vandergriff Hasty who preceded her in death and Hughie Vandergriff who resides in Fredericktown, Missouri and Martha Poe of Dittmer, Missouri

Bertha was then married to Vernon B. Tinsley and to this union two sons and three daughters were born; Bob who preceded her in death, Steve Tinsley of Fredericktown, Brenda Hand of Fredericktown, Sally Wood of Fredericktown, and Joyce Vaughn of Pennsylvania.

Bertha was later married to Cletus Holland who also preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents and one brother Oscar Stevens.

Bertha Holland is also survived by two brothers Arley Stevens and Willard "Woody" Stevens, one sister Ruth Jordan, eighteen (18) grandchildren, thirty (30) great grandchildren, and six (6) great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church. She enjoyed many things such a quilting, being a Sunday School teacher, ice cream, Christmas candy making, vacation, and family.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Follis & Sons Chapel

INTERMENT: Mt. Pisgah Cemetery
