Betty Lamargaret Faulkner, age 86, of Fredericktown, MO, passed away on June 19, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on July 29, 1939, in Datto, Arkansas to Arthur and Goldie (Hester) Boyer. She had an extraordinary gift for turning strangers into friends and lighting up the world with her bright smile. She was an example of kindness and generosity, touching countless lives with her selfless spirit.

Betty married the love of her life, Bob Faulkner, on June 1, 1985. She and Bob loved to travel and spent many winters in Pharr, Texas making many lifelong friends. Above all, Betty’s greatest joy was her family and her sweet pup, Yadi. She loved spending time with family, liked to work crossword puzzles and play games with family and friends. Betty spent her career at New Era Bank for over 28 years and was a member of the Millcreek Free Will Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her children, Michelle Parker (Kelly Sikes) of Barnhart, MO, Janice (Jim) Johnson of Cape Girardeau, MO, Brenda (David) Casey of Jackson, MO, Rhonda (Jay) Wilkins of Jackson, MO, Greg Faulkner of Overland, MO. Grandchildren, Nikki (Wally) Fortier, Cory (Marissa) Johnson, Zach (Brooke) Johnson, Justin (Jessica) Parker, Jeremy Parker (Ashley Vaughn). Great grandchildren, Makayla Fortier, Aubrey Fortier, Jackson Fortier, Kolton Johnson, Kynna Johnson, Emerie Johnson, Myla Johnson, Camden Parker and Callie Parker. Great great granddaughter Sutton Adams. Bonus children, Vicky (Britt) Duncan, Lisa Chatellier, Shanna Byrum, Tiffany Zert, Andy Matthews, Kim Ward and Tami Krueger. Bonus grandchildren, Jessica (Dustin) Crafton, Jordan (Camden) Lanier, Courtney (Jason) Andrew and Mayle Ward.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Faulkner, parents, Arthur & Goldie Boyer, six brothers, Lloyd, Howard, A.R., Ken, Bud and Farrel Boyer, four sisters, Desma Boyer, Willie Smalley, Virginia Boyer and Josphine Harig and grandson Shane Street.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Follis & Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, MO. Public visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Black River Cemetery in Williamsville, MO. Betty requested everyone wear bright colors for her service.
