Betty Moyers was born on December 22, 1931 at Cascade, Missouri, the daughter of Arley and Opal (Pugh) Myers, and passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 89 years.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melvin, who she was married to for 30 years, one (1) daughter Lisa O'Rourke, one (1) step-grandson Even Lay, three (3) sisters Wanda Myers, Kathryn Miinch, Pearl Gipson, brother and sister-in-law Marvin Basil (Mary Ann) Myers, brother Kenneth Wayne Myers, one (1) brother-in-law Marion Louie Moyers and one (1) sister-in-law Mary Moyers.

Betty is survived by one (1) son David (Michele) O'Rourke.  Adopted Heather Moyers, Step-son Paul (Lisa) Moyers, Step-daughter Janet Cassidy. Four (4) grandchildren, One (1) step grandchild, nine (9) great grandchildren, One (1) step great grandchild, Two (2) step great grand children, Two (2) great great grandchildren. Two (2) sisters Carol Mouser & Marilyn Braswell, Three(3) brothers Don (Barbara) Myers, Harold (Brenda) Myers and Arley (Sharon) Myers Jr. numerous nieces, nephews,great nieces, great nephews and many other family and friends.

Betty attended Grace Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed collecting teapots, was always sending birthday cards to people and sewing.
