Bobby Gene Wengler's Obituary
Bobby Gene Wengler was born May 28, 1932 in Madison County, Missouri the son of Earl and Mary (Newberry) Wengler and passed away on January 29, 2009 at Fredericktown at the age of 76 years.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother Earl wengler Jr.
Bobby married Betty Shetley on November 17, 1956 at Fredericktown Lutheran Church.
Bobby is survived by his wife Betty Wengler, Two (2) daughters Shonda Bathe of Fredericktown and Jennifer Painter of Blue Ash, Ohio, One (1) brother Don Wengler of Evansville, Indiana. Four (4) grandchildren Lauren Bathe, Daniel Bathe, Jacob Painter and Madeline Painter.
Bobby was a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He enjoyed Horses, gardening, socializing at the coffee shops.
Bobby was a U.S. Navy Veteran receiving the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Services were held January 31, 2009 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home, with interment in Christian Cemetery. Pastor Rick Lasley -officiating.
