Bonnie Grove Haste, 88 , widow of Thomas Haste, died Sunday, December 22, 2024, at The Grove in Sumter, South Carolina.

Born October 17, 1936, in Washington, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late James W. Grove and the late Nora Underhill Grove. Mrs. Haste attended Alice Drive Baptist Church in Sumter and was a member of Calvary Church in Fredericktown, Missouri. She retired from the Department of Defense in Crane, Indiana.

Survivors include a daughter, Jana Lee (Pete); a daughter-in-law, Dana Sims; a stepson, Tome Haste (Patricia); four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Naomi Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald R. Sims Jr., a brother, Johnny Grove, and a sister, Sylvia Kixmiller.
