Brenda Kaye Davis was born on December 13, 1945, at Kennett, MO, the daughter of Raymond and Mamie Agnes (Meyers) Trout, and passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 80 years.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Davis, who she married July 6, 1963, seven (7) siblings, Jean Mayberry, W.T. Trout, Mavis Wilson, Ray Trout, Wiley Trout, Erma Lee Trout, and Mildred Austin.

Brenda is survived by two (2) daughters Debra (Michael) Smith, Valerie (David) Hanshew, two (2) sisters Linda (James) Hardin, Carolyn (Ron) Thorn, two (2) sister-in-laws Mildred Stacey, Vera Trout, two (2) brother-in-laws Roger Davis, James Austin, eight (8) grandchildren, Ammiel (Frank) Rowland, Gene (Iryna) Gainer III, Chelsea (Carlos) Gainer, Belle (Clayton) Martin, Nona (Jordan) Warford, Tarah Hanshew, David Hanshew and Marlotta Hanshew, fifteen (15) great-grandchildren, one (1) great great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, her special companion, her dog, Chico.

Brenda was affiliated with Calvary Church, where whe was known to be a prayer warrior. She worked beside her husband Jerry gardening, mowing, loved teaching children about Jesus. She enjoyed sewing (especially for her daughters).
