Bud David Adcox was born August 22, 1931 in Tupelo, Arkansas to the son of Nellie Elanor Houchin and "Bud" Rupert King Adcox. On June 7, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Scudder in Hoxie, Arkansas. He died September 13, 2011 at his home.

Bud was employed for many years in the roofing industry working locally for the Huffman Roofing Company and for Leo Holley of Federal Builders.

Until recently, Bud attended the Higdon Christian Church near Fredericktown.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, Bud is survived by three (3) daughters: Leona Adcox-Loyd of Aiken, South Carolina; Tammy Cox of Fredericktown, Missouri; and Traci Allen of Fredericktown, Missouri. He is also survived by six (6) grandchildren. He is also survived by two (2) brothers, Don Free of Topeka, Kansas and Bill Park of Newport, Arkansas as well as two(2) sisters Dorothy Bone of McCroy, Arkansas and Coleta Jordan of Hanford, California.

Preceding him in death was one son Clinton David Adcox and one sister Grace Cockrell.

Bud was loved by his many friends and neighbors. He loved to fish with friends and barbequeing with neighbors but most of all he loved spending quality time with three very special gandkids Angela, Trenton, and Steven.
