Buddy Dotson was born March 16, 1936 at Stirral, West Virginia the son of Dock and Grace (Browning) Dotson and passed away on April 16, 2018 at St. Francis hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 82 years.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Two (2) sons Michael Dotson and Marty Dotson. One (1) sister Doris Miller, brother-in-law Jim Miller, one (1) sister Merlean Eastepp and nephew Rick Stacy.

Buddy is survived by his wife Nancy (Campbell) Dotson who he married on November 19, 1954 at Clintwood, Virginia.  Three (3) grandchildren Dawn Thode-Parker (Alan) of Fenton, Missouri, Amy Dotson -Key (Chris) of Vici, Oklahoma and Amanda Toczylowski (Gary) of Dayton, Ohio. Five (5) great grandchildren Chaley Thode, Corbin Thode, Braiden Key, Kaleb Key and Landon Toczylowski. A special nephew Nathan Kissee who enjoyed talking to Buddy daily. Two (2) sisters Joanne Baison of Pensewater, Michigan and Christine Stacy of Branson, Missouri.

Buddy was a U.S. Marine Veteran.
