Carl Levi Welch, 81, of Fredericktown, passed Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 11, 1934 to the Late John P. and Lola D. (Kelley) Welch in Jewett, Missouri.
Carl married Betty Scaggs April 24, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Preceding him in death were his parents, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years and 3 children, Cheryl Lenderman of Paragould, Arkansas, Carlene (Ron) Winberry of Fredericktown, Mo. and John (Kim) Welch of St. Mary's, Mo. 7 grandchildren Brandi (Chris) Rannals, Jason Welch, Amy (Nathan) Settlemoir, John Welch Jr., Michael (Whitley) Lenderman, Whitney Welch, Sierra Welch, and 5 great-grandchildren. One Brother Doug (Nell) Welch and one sister JoAnn Welch.
Mr. Welch served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Mathney Heating and Air Conditioning in St. Louis, Mo. He attended The Church of Many Blessings in Fredericktown, Mo. He enjoyed collecting knives and guns and spending time with his family and going to the coffee shop with his buddies.
Carl was a very loved and cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be greatly missed.
