Carol Ann Menteer Ammon was born March 19, 1951 at St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of David M. and Mary O. (Hale) Menteer and passed away on June 26, 2020 at Fredericktown at the age of 69 years.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband James (Butch) Ammon whom she married on March 30, 2010 at Park Hills and brother Kevin Menteer.

Carol is survived by son Shawn M. (Sara) Rogers of Coffman, Mo., daughter Amber N. (Brandon) Penberthy of Farmington, five (5) brothers Rick Menteer, Dave Menteer, Doug Menteer all of Fredericktown, James Menteer of Conyers, Ga. And Ralph Combs Jr. of Bourbon, Mo. Two (2) sisters Angela Francis of Billings, Montana and Brenda Clark of Canton, Ga.  And Four (4) grandchildren.

Carol was of the Catholic Faith she enjoyed caring and teaching children.
