Carol was born February 26, 1942, in Fredericktown, MO.     She passed away on November 23, 2023, in Fenton, MO, at the age of 81 years.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband J.O. Yount, Jr, who she married on September 13, 1958, a daughter, Sandra Kay Yount, her parents Frank & Etta Carlton, her sisters Cookie DeBlois, Betty Sample, her brothers Charlie Carlton, Don Carlton, Bobby Carlton.

She is survived by her children, Brad Yount (Steve Lindsey) of Collierville, TN, Michelle Bieri (Mike Bieri) of Imperial, MO, and grandchildren, Nathan Yount (Desirae) of Apollo Beach, FL, Andrew Yount (Ashu) of Memphis, TN, and Ryan Bieri of Imperial, MO, and great-grand-children, Jase and Ellie Yount of Apollo Beach, FL, , and sister Mary Ellen Sikes of Fredericktown, MO and many other extended family members.

She was a loving, caring and independent woman and the best mother and role model anyone could ask for.  She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending to her flowers/plants.  She is at peace now with her husband and other loved ones in heaven that have gone before her.   She will be greatly missed.
