Cecil Clifford Whitener was born on April 20, 1933 at Allbright, Missouri the son of Clayton and Bertha (Rickman) Whitener Sr. and passed away on April 13, 2012 in Cape Girardeau at the age of 78 years. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Clayton A. Whitener Jr. Cecil was united in marriage to Dorris E. Allen on November 29, 1952 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Cecil is survived by his wife, two (2) daughters Donna Kay Whitener of Foley, Missouri and Cecile Diane Whitener McDonald of Silva, Missouri; two (2) brothers Ronald E. Whitener of Greenville, Tennessee and Frank D. Whitener of Cedar Hill, Missouri; four (4) grandchildren and two (2) great grandchildren. Cecil was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed being a mechanic, hunting and fishing, and spending time with the grandchildren.
