Cecilia Elizabeth Deshaney was born January 13, 1923 at Fredericktown, the daughter of Francis "Fritz" and Nellie Prokopf, and passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 100 years.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel Deshaney Sr., siblings Gertie Miller, Judy Mell, Frances Dettmer, Charles Prokopf, Jerry Prokopf, Joseph Prokopf, one (1) daughter, Phyllis Deshaney, and three (3) grandchildren, Paul Merritt III, Elizabeth Lorraine Merritt, and Kelly Whited.

Cecilia is survived by two (2) sons, Daniel (Sherry) Deshaney Jr., Edward Deshaney, three (3) daughters, Deborah (Gary) Whited, Sandy (Gary) Carey, Barbara (Steve) Coleman, one (1) brother, Paul Prokopf, one (1) sister Mary Dugan, twelve (12) grandchildren, sixteen (16) great-grandchildren, and twelve (12) great-great-grandchildren.

Cecelia was a member of St. Michaels Church in Fredericktown, and she enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, playing rummy, and the most important things in her life were her family and her Church.
