Charles W. Chambers was born on July 11, 1944 at Morrilton, Arkansas the son of James and Lena (Pennington) Chambers and passed away on January 17, 2016 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington at the age of 71 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jim Chambers. He is survived by his wife Judy (Long) Chambers whom he was united in marriage to on July 21, 1973 at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, two sons Lee (Jonaliza) Chambers of Fredericktown and Bradley (Natalie) Chambers of Phoenix, Arizona, two brothers Rex (Betty) Chambers of Russellville, Arkansas, John Chambers of Sparkman, Arkansas, two sisters Sharon (Charles) Harrison, and Ruth (Jimmy) Kelley of Sparkman, Arkansas, two grandchildren and one on the way. Charles was a member of the Methodist Church in Sparkman, Arkansas and attended the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown. He served in the United States Air Force from January 14, 1963 to January 13, 1969 when he was Honorably Discharged. During his service he served a year and three months overseas. He enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball, coaching, teaching, and history.
