Charles Lee Freeland was born on June 20, 1915 in Kennett MO the son of Charley Alexander and Ora Belle (Hunt) Freeland and passed away on February 26, 2009 at the Claru DeVille Nursing Home in Fredericktown.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Evelyn whom he married on September 5, 1936, one son Jay Scott Freeland, three(3) brothers Thomas, Albert, Vernon Freeland, two (2) sisters Ada Mae Lingle, and Lorene Heisler.
Charles is survived by one (1) son Steven Freeland of Chaffee, MO two (2) daughters Charlene (Gary) Cooper of St. Charles, and Kathleen Unland of O'Fallon.
Six (6) grandchildren, and five (5) great-grandchildren.
Charles enjoyed fishing.

Burial will be held at the Morgan Cemetery in Advance, Missouri with Betty Wagganer officiating
