Obituary

Charles W. Royer was born September 8, 1934 at Silvermines, Missouri the son of Harmon Howard and Audrey (Means) Royer and departed this life on September 24, 2018 at his home.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Dean (Buck) Royer, brother-in-law George Starkey, twin infant nephews John & James Royer, great nephew Joshua Royer, father-in-law & mother-in-law Ira & Katie Sikes, brother-in-law Charles Noyes & nephew Brian Noyes.

He is survived by his wife Pearl (Sikes) Royer whom he married on June 17, 1957 in Hernando, Mississippi.

Sons Greg & Tracy Royer of Fulton, Missouri, Perry & Cathy Royer of Fredericktown and Alan & Cindy Royer of Fredericktown. Six (6) grandchildren Caleb Royer of Elk City, Kansas, Joanna & Julie Royer of Fredericktown, Elizabeth & Ethan Rehkop of Fredericktown, Laurel Royer of Columbia, Missouri and Heidi Royer of Fulton, Missouri. Five (5) brothers Howard & Norma Royer, Roy & Joyce Royer, Shirley & Gracie Royer, Lee Gale & Geneva Royer and Louis & Barbara Royer. One (1) sister Linda Starkey all of Fredericktown. Brothers-in-law Vernon & Thelma Sikes, Everett & Geraldine Sikes and Lindell & Gloria Sikes all of Fredericktown. Sister-in-law Alma Sikes of Denton, Texas. Thirty Four (34) nieces and nephews and One Hundred Fifty (150) great & great great nieces & nephews.

Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran from 1957 to 1959, he was a member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
