Cheryl Beth Gipson was born May 13, 1954 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri the daughter of Delmar Paul and Amy Elizabeth (Jaco) Hovis and passed away on October 2, 2018 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown at the age of 64 years.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gene Hovis, sisters Janet Gipson & Dottie Odem.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Roger Gipson whom she married on May 20, 1973 at Gravelton Lutheran Church, their son Roger Wade (Dawn) Gipson of Marquand, Three (3) brothers Elmer Hovis of Kansas, Davey Hovis of Marble Hill & Donnie Hovis of Fredericktown, Jimmy Hovis Three (3) sisters Joan Hernanez of Texas, Vida Breashers of Mississippi & Vivian Dicer of Marshall, Missouri Three (3) grandchildren Michelle Gipson, Amy (Randy) Montgomery & Harley Gipson. Two (2) great grandchildren Alonzo Paul Gipson & James Isaac Montgomery. Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn her passing.

Cheryl enjoyed baking, cooking and her kids and grandkids meant the world to her.
