Cheryl Ann (LaPlant) Wurtz was born July 23, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of James Marvin and Virginia Ann LaPlant and passed away on January 4, 2016 at Belleville, Illinois at the age of 67 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Catherine and Jennifer, and two brothers Jim and Bob. She is survived by two daughters Laurie Ann VanOrder of Hamberg, New York and Kathie Ann Wurtz of St. Louis, Missouri, three brothers Gerald LaPlant of Barnhart, Missouri, Russel LaPlant of Goose Creek, Missouri, and Barry LaPlant of Arcadia, Missouri, and three grandchildren. Cheryl was of the Lutheran Faith of and enjoyed singing in the choir.
