Christopher Edward Clark, born November 17, 1985, in Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away on August 1, 2026, at his home. Those who knew Christopher remember him as a devoted father, loyal son, loving brother, and a person of deep faith in the Lord.

Christopher grew up surrounded by the rolling hills and running waters of the Big St. Francis river, a place that shaped his deep connections to family and community. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and his special ability to connect with animals, a quality apparent from an early age and cherished by those close to him.

His life was defined by acts of selflessness and devotion to the ones he loved. Among the memories treasured by his family is the day Christopher missed his own college graduation in order to take his beloved daughter, Kahleesi, to Busch Stadium so she could walk around the field with her 4-H group. His priorities were always clear—family came first, and his daughter’s happiness meant more to him than any accolade.

Those who spent time with Christopher recall fond family adventures, such as the time he and his siblings rescued a fawn from the river. The little animal would only eat if it was beside Christopher’s bed, further proof of his unique and gentle connection with creatures. He was also the only one who could persuade the bottle calves on the farm to eat—a testimony to his patient, nurturing ways.

Within his family, Christopher’s presence was a source of laughter and love. He shared a lifelong, playful rapport with his little brother, Keith, who he picked on daily growing up, punctuated by good-natured teasing and enduring affection. As a brother, he was steadfastly supportive; as a son, he brought pride and comfort; as a father, he was nurturing above all else.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Sharon Clark; his daughter, Kahleesi Clark; his brothers, Keith Clark and Robbie Ellis; his sister, Heather Jenkins; and his grandmother, Joanne Grace Adams, father figures, Willis McDowell and Donnie Basler, nephews Camden Clark and Corbyn Clark. They loved Uncle Chris’s wheelchair rides., Uncles John (Missy) Clark, Robert (Jamie) Clark, Timothy Clark, Aunt Christy (Greg) Cole. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Edward Clark Sr., and his aunt, Missy Clark. The bonds he had with each of them were deep, meaningful, and will be forever cherished by those who loved him.

His legacy is one filled with the warmth of family memories, acts of kindness, thou life became a challenge he never gave up and hit life difficulties head on. Thru out his life his ambition and work ethic was great. He started his own logging company in 2012 which he continued to run until the joined the Labors International Union of North America, which he was employed with until his diving accident which rendered him a paraplegic. Christopher’s story is not merely one of a life lived, but one with a love for reading. He also enjoyed being in the woods hunting and fishing with his daughter . But his last years were spent supporting his daughter’s love of horses and barrel racing. 

A graveside service in memory of Christopher Edward Clark will be held at Saco Cemetery, located at the junction of Hwy C and Madison County Road 416, Saco, Missouri 63645, on August 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man whose gentle soul and loving nature made the world a better place for those around him.
