Clara Mae Evans was born May 27, 1945 in Fredericktown the daughter of Edward G. Griffith & Virginia Mae (Whitworth) Benton and passed away on September 22, 2016 at her home in Fredericktown at the age of 71 years.
She married the late Bobby L. Evans on October 31, 1980 she was of the Baptist Faith. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, step- mother Berniece Griffith, brothers Ernie Duncan, Henry Griffith & Bob Griffith. Her daughter Linda J. Barton McDonald, great grand daughter Emma J. Vance. Her nephews Markie Miller, Brian Wade, David Wade & Timmy Wade.
Clara is survived by Bobby Evans Jr. & Sherrie Evans of Fredericktown, William Evans & Michelle Evans of Fredericktown, Arlena Crump of Fredericktown, Edward Evans & Melinda Evans of Fredericktown, Sherie Chitwood & Joseph Chitwood Jr. of Fredericktown & Kandi Anderson & bob Anderson of Fredericktown.
Clara is survived by 31 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Her sister-in-law Shirley Duncan, her sisters Susan Miller of Fredericktown, JoAnna Riggs of Fredericktown, Pat Easley of Fredericktown, Annabell Wade of Farmington, Willis Griffith of Norfolk, Virginia. She is survived by several nieces & nephews.
