Colleen Carol Metcalf was born February 18, 1938 at Fort Collins, Colorado, the daughter of Rincold and Lydia Wolf Winter and passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Stockhoff Nursing Home at the age of 86 years.

Colleen attended high school at Fort Collins High School and graduated in 1956. After trying college, she decided to join the military. She joined the Army (WACS) February 1959 where she served her country for two years as well as meeting the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Metcalf.

Bob and Colleen were married April 21, 1961 in Arlington, Virginia and celebrated 62 years of marriage prior to his death June 29, 2023.

She is survived by close friends, Don and Brenda Laut, her church family and numerous other friends.

As a young girl, Colleen played softball for several years, playing the position of pitcher. After making her home in Fredericktown, on the farm, she very much enjoyed farming with her husband and especially loved raising and showing registered bulls.
