Connie Gifford was born on September 8, 1939 at St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Lewis and Clara Collins and passed away on May 20, 2014 at Farmington, Missouri at the age of 74 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Gifford whom she was united in marriage to on April 2, 1956 at Coldwater, Missouri, three brothers Claude Collins, Lewis Collins Jr, and Allen Collins, sister-in-law Myra Gifford, father-in-law R.T. Gifford, and mother-in-law Nell Gifford. She is survived by two sons Robert Gifford and Ronald Gifford both of Fredericktown, one daughter Patricia Hente of Cape Girardeau, two sisters Clara Zlotopolski and Ethel Vaughn both of St. Louis, five (5) grandchildren, and three (3) great grandchildren. Connie along with her husband Ronald owned and operated several businesses over the years including Gifford Homes at Millcreek and then eventually relocated the business to Farmington. She was a member of the Coldwater Missionary Baptist Church and was a collector of antiques, glassware, and dolls.
