Danny L. Thompson was born August 8, 1938 at Ironton, the son of Rouse and Virginia Thompson, and passed away on March 27, 2019 at Fredericktown at the age of 80 years.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, and one (1) sister Jennifer "Ginger" Moyers.

Danny is survived by his wife Dean, whom he married on January 1, 1960 at Reno, Nevada, two (2) sons Mark (Kell) Thompson, Phil (Marilyn) Thompson, two (2) grandchildren Matthew (Nicole) Thompson, Jordan (Amanda Coker) Thompson, three (3) great-grandchildren Camden, Emma, and Max Thompson, one (1) brother Steve (Dolly) Thompson, niece Heather Boever and family, and nephew Chris Lawrence and family.

Danny was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, he was Madison County Collector for 32 years, he operated the bus business started by his father in 1930, and he enjoyed woodcarving, coin collecting, fishing, and his grandkids ballgames.
