David Russell McCulley was born on August 18, 1947, at Cape Girardeau, the son of Russell and Patsie McCulley, and passed away on August 21,2026 at his home in Marquand, MO at the age of 79.

David is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Linda Kaempfer.

David is survived by his wife, Valerie, who he married on May 15, 1971, numerous bonus sons, two (2) daughters Jody Lamerton, Nicole McCulley, one (1) sister Barbara Riesbeck, two (2) grandchildren Justin Utley, Hannah Wollick, two (2) great-grandchildren Redick Utley, Ripken Utley.

David was affilated with the Cowboy Church.  He enjoyed raising horse colts, raising cattle, having trail rides, going to horse sales, going to the one more lounge, trading guns and a shot or 2 of Pendelton.
