David James Minton was born on February 23, 1953, at Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of John and Amy Minton, and passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 69 years.

David was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) brother Derek Minton, one (1) sister Barbara Tripp, one (1) son Anthony Minton, and three (3) great-nieces, Cassie Cameron, Payton Collier, and Maylee Shults.

David is survived by one (1) granddaughter, Abi Jo (Alex Lopez) Minton, Three (3) brothers, and One (1) sister, Kenneth (Elfie) Minton, Myron (Robin) Minton, Linda (Scott) Cureton, Michael (Dana) Minton, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

David was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he was of the Nazarene Faith, and he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, canning, and birdwatching.
