David Edward Stricklan, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Ironton, Missouri. Born on November 5, 1955, in St. Louis. 

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tammie Stricklan who he married June 25, 1983, his children, David (Krista) Stricklan and Amanda (Johnny) Golden; his siblings Lester Stricklan, Johnny Stricklan, Larry Stricklan, and Marlene Stricklan; and his grandchildren Aspen Golden, Payton Stricklan, Mckinley Nahm, Melia Stricklan, and Zion Golden. 

David was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bergner; his mother, Elizabeth Stricklan; and his grandson Parker Stricklan, his brothers Bobby Stricklan, Dennis Stricklan, and Gene Stricklan. 

Throughout his life, David was known to be a gentle giant that never met a stranger. His proudest accomplishments were his grandchildren.  David enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
