Debra Jean Holt Brookes was born on February 29, 1960 at Strafford, Missouri, the daughter of Ray Dean Holt and Donna Jones and passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband George Brookes, who she married on June 2, 1990 at Mt. Pisgah Church in Madison County and one (1) sister Teresa Jane Holt.

Debra is survived by one (1) son Richard G. Brookes Jr., nine (9) daughters Bobbie Wiseman, Jennifer Russell, Laura Hickey, Dana (John) Burton, Kathleen Hickey, Sherri Brookes, Hope Hickey, Stephanie Brookes (Jeremy) Mooney, Kimberly MacCash, two (2) brothers Ray Holt, Jimmy Holt, one (1) sister Teresa Jane Holt, twenty (20) grandchildren and two (2) great-grandchildren.

Debra was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and was most and foremost a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She loved music, dancing, cooking and the Bible.
