Donald Lee Francis was born on October 12, 1940, at Fredericktown, the son of Leo Francis and Esther "Bo Peep" Francis-Darnell, and passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 82 years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father James Darnell, and step-son Chris Black.

Donald is survived by his wife Sondra K. Francis, one (1) son Gregg Francis, one (1) daughter Julia (Jim) Long, one (1) step-daughter Belinda (Jerry) Canady, one (1) step-son Michael Black, one (1) sister Doris (Gerald) Firebaugh, one (1) step daughter-in-law Myra Black, three (3) grandchildren, Alexa "Lexi" Francis, Tyler (Marie) Long, Tessa Long, eight (8) step-grandchildren, Jonathan Canady, Shaina Canady, Alan Canady, Ginger Black, Tiffany Black, Christen Black, Austin Black, Anthony Black, and eleven (11) great-grandchildren.

Donald was of the Christian Faith, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, grooming his lawn, and being with family.
