Doris Madeline (Dotson) Miller-Guenther was born June 14, 1929 at Glen Alum, West Virginia the daughter of Doc burgess and Grace Pearl (Browning) Dotson and passed away on March 1, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri at the age of 86 years.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, she was united in marriage to James K. Miller who also preceded her in death, an infant daughter Regina Miller, Richard Burgess Miller & Richard Burgess Miller Jr. She later married Merle Guenther he also preceded her in death.
Doris was a member of the Open Door Tabernacle church of the Pentecostal Faith. Doris was the Matriarch of the Family. She loved to decorate and was a great story teller. Her grand children and great grandchildren loved to hear all her stories of growing up in west Virginia. She was a very special Lady who loved the Lord Jesus and enjoyed listening to Gospel Music, especially by her great grandsons playing their guitars. She will missed by all who knew her.
Doris is survived by Two (2) sons James (Janet) Miller & Jeffery (Becky) Miller, One (1) daughter Teena (Scott) Buttrey. Fifteen (15) grandchildren and Ten (10) great grandchildren. Three (3) sisters JoAnn Baisden, Muriel Estep & Christine Stacy, One (1)brother Dane (Buddy) Dotson. Many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends .
