Dorothy Mudge was born on June 23, 1929, at Elvins, Missouri, the daughter of Alonzo and Lula Freeland, and passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 96 years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melvin Mudge, who she married on October 26, 1946, at Fredericktown, one (1) son Jerry Mudge two (2) brothers, John Freeland, Jack Freeland, and three (3) sisters, Virginia Stevens, Judy Freese, and Delores "Dee" Arkowski.

Dorothy is survived by two (2) sons, Chuck (Joan) Mudge, Neal (Susan) Mudge, one (1) sister-in-law, Nelda Ballew, six (6) grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was of the Baptist Faith, and she enjoyed gardening, socializing, caring for others, and spending time with her family.
