Dorris Ellene Whitener was born January 2, 1934 in Libertyville, Missouri the daughter of Troy and Maude Allen and passed away on December 10, 2023 at Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of 89 years.

Dorris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Whitener who she married on November 30, 1952 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, sisters Margie Cooley and Lois Cooper.

Dorris is survived by a daughter Cecile McDonald, a brother Gary (Sharon) Allen, a sister Carol (James) Womble. Four grandchildren Josh, Jessica, Tommy and Nicky and six great grandchildren Chasity, Aryanna Aiden, Cason, Jaxon and Sai.

Dorris enjoyed embroidery, cooking, word search books and skating.
