William Douglas McFarland was born February 14, 1944 at Ironton, Missouri the son of William Henry and Betty Lee (Roberts) McFarland and passed away on July 8, 2019 at Fredericktown at the age of 75 years.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents.

Doug is survived by One (1) daughter Sara (Mark) DeSpain, One (1) brother Mike (Marilyn) McFarland, One (1) grandson Aiden DeSpain.

Doug was of the Methodist Faith. He was Madison County Surveyor for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, St. Louis Cardinals, NCAA Basketball. Doug was one of the A&M Restaurant regulars.
