Douglas Leroy "Doug" Welch was born on February 16, 1936 at St. Louis, Missouri the son of John P. and Lola (Kelley) Welch and passed away on January 12, 2023 at his home in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 86 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Carl Welch, one sister JoAnn Conklin, two daughters Carol Mann and Cathy Baker, one son-in-law David Neff, one grandson Officer Colt Tripp, and step-children Greg, Cindy, and Kim.

Doug is survived by his wife Nell (Wheeling) Welch whom he was united in marriage to on March 27, 1988 at Las Vegas, Nevada, one son Carl Welch (Terri) of Farmington, Missouri, two daughters Cindy Torres (Ronnie)  of Yuma, Arizona and Debra Neff of Oklahoma, one step-son Warren Wheeling of Georgia, and two step-daughters Angel Brewer of North Carolina and Sheila of New Hampshire. Also fourteen (14) grandchildren, ten (10) step-grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Doug was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cars and wheeling and dealing.
