Duane Wallace Baker was born on August 8, 1935 at Marinette, Wisconsin the son of Roy and Esther Baker and passed away on November 4, 2014 at Fredericktown at the age of 79 years. He was preceded in death by one son Carl Baker, one daughter Terry Bero, two brothers Al Baker and Kenny Baker, and one sister Ethel Thuillen. Duane is survived by his wife Gwen Baker whom he was united in marriage to on October 1977 at Marinette, Wisconsin, four sons Bruce Baker, Wally Baker, Fred Sindorf, and David Baker, three daughters Ann Marie Baker, Karen Sebero, and Jody Vick, one brother Howard Baker, seven sisters Dorothy Dean, Luella Dorn, Lois Judy, Helen Ann Linstedt, Rita Thews, Karen Cook, and Linda Johnson, seventeen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Duane was a member of a Jehovah's Witness, and enjoyed working in the church as an Elder in Fredercktown Congregation, Ministry, and Bible Study, beekeeping, and woodworking.
