Rev. Elmer "Lloyd" Durbin was born on January 5, 1927 at Desloge, Missouri the son of Albert and Bessie (Tiefenauer) Durbin and passed away on July 21, 2014 at his son's home in Farmington at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vivian "Janice" (Rogers) Durbin whom he was united in marriage to on December 4, 1952 at Fredericktown, and one daughter Mary Elizabeth Standley. He is survived by one son Roger (Tamera) Durbin of Farmington, three sisters Alice Ward of Rolla, Missouri, Deanna Goggins of Louisville, Kentucky, and Nancy Poe of Overland Park, Kansas, five grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Lloyd was a minister with Free Will Baptist for many years and enjoyed his ministry and music. Lloyd was also a World War II veteran where he served in the United States Army and was decorated with the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal- Germany.
