Obituary

Earl Edward Spain of Coldwater, Missouri died November 1, 2014 at the V.A. Nursing Home in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born August 13, 1918 at Coldwater, Missouri a son of James Edward and Dora Ellen (Graham) Spain.
He spent 4 years in World War II from 1942 to 1946 and served in Germany for six months.
He married Edith Audrey Barber on January 18, 1947 at St. Louis.
Preceding him in death were his parents, four sisters Carrie Coley, Maye Berry, Opal Coley, Lorene Greer, and one grandchild Kimberly Spain.
Survivors include his wife, two sons Gary (Nancy) Spain, Terry (Gina) Spain, one daughter Janis (Mike) Lutes and seven grandchildren, Melissa, Stephanie, Amber, Travis, April, Bryan, and Holly.
Earl was a car builder at St. Louis Car Company for 27 years, an active member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church at Coldwater for many years.

Visitation; 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home

Funeral Service; 10:30 A.M. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Coldwater Methodist Church

Officiating; Rev. W.D. Snyder and Rev. Willis Guess

Interment; Coldwater Methodist Cemetery
