Edith Audrey (Barber) Spain of St. Louis passed away on April 27, 2018. She was born March 25, 1926 in Coldwater, Missouri to Samuel and Rosa Lee (Willmore) Barber. She married Earl Edward Spain on January 18, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of the Coldwater Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, embroidering, piecing quilts, crocheting, gardening, Wii bowling and caring for her family.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years; parents; four brothers: Vernon, Guy, Clarence, & Lawrence; four sisters: Mary Barber, Ethel Barber, Glenda Sullivan, and Freda Marler; and one grandchild: Kimberly Spain.

She will be remembered fondly by her surviving family, including three children: Gary (Nancy) Spain, Jan (Mike) Lutes, Terry (Gina) Spain; One sister: Arbetta (Danny) Parson; Seven grandchildren: Travis, April, Bryan, Holly, Melissa, Stephanie and Amber; One great granddaughter: Nora; many nieces and nephews.
