Edna Ruth Cartee was born January 31, 1926 at Esther, Misssouri the daughter of Albert & Eva (Baker) Wilfong and passed away on October 28, 2011 at Womack, Missouri at the age of 85 years.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Six (6) brothers Lawrence (Judy) Wilfong, Leman Wilfong, Lloyd Wilfong, Thomas Wilfong, Alvin (Glenda) Wilfong, Albert Dale (Roberta) Wilfong.
Ruth married James Lee Cartee on December 19, 1947 at Fredericktown.
Ruth is survived by her husband James L. Cartee, One (1) son Michael L. Cartee (Karen) of Womack. Two (2) daughters Helen Gilliland (Gary) of Deslose & Ruth Ann Pope (Dale) Park Hills. Two (2) brothers Vernon Wilfong (Leeann) of Park Hills & Alfred Wilfong (Joyce) of Coldwater, Mo. Two (2) sisters Ruby Barnes of San Diego, CA & Mary Moonier of Perryville.
Six (6) grandchildren Sarah, Seth, Skyler, William, Garan & Dylan. One (1) great grandchild Addison.
Ruth was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Fredericktown.
