Edna Mae Hillis left this earth on January 28, 2013 at the age of 85 years with her loving husband and family at her bedside. Edna was born on June 11, 1927 at Desloge, Missouri, the daughter of George F. and Mollie E. (Rohan) Kinney. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Lester E. "Gene" Kinney, her first husband Ruffie "Mac" McDuffie, and step-son Kenneth W. Hillis. She is survived by her husband Reedie O. "Bud" Hillis, step-son Cameron (Denise) Hillis, grandchildren Jesse (Melissa) and Casie (Barry) Hanger and great grandchildren Annika and Brailey Kemp and Katie, Kenny, and Krissy Hillis. Also nieces Felicia and Heather Kinney of Smithton, Illinois, Barbara (Johnny) Richardson of Dupo, Illinois, and Jeanne (Rick) Richardson of Dupo, Illinois, and nephew Gary W. (Mary) Kinney of Smithton, Illinois. Edna was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), the Captain Henry Whitener Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Madison County Historical Society.
