Edward August Snell Sr. was born May 30, 1945 in St. Louis the son of August Edward Snell and Lucille Ann Marie (Kline) Snell and passed away on September 25, 2018 at his residence.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose (Yancey) Snell whom he married on March 27, 1965 in St. Anthony's Cathedral in St. Louis.

He is survived by Two (2) sons Edward August Snell Jr of Alabama, & James Martin Snell of Ironton, One (1) daughter Kimberly Cook of Fredericktown.  Two (2) brothers David Raymond Snell & Joseph David Snell both of Arkansas, One (1) sister Patricia Ann Snell of Arkansas. Fifteen (15) grandchildren and Twenty – Six (26) great grandchildren.

Ed was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed golf, bowling and bingo.
