Elmer Mouser of Marquand, formerly of Doniphan Missouri passed away on July 1, 2020. Born on January 11, 1924 in Marquand, to Ester and Frances Mouser, he was 96 years of age.

Elmer is survived by, his wife of 71 years Roseda Monie Mouser,  their four (4) children Eugene "Butch" (Clara) Mouser, Ronnie (Gail) Mouser, Barbara Jacobs, Eddie (Donna) Mouser, eleven (11) grandchildren, twenty-one (21) great-grandchildren and five (5) great-great-grandchildren.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, three (3) brothers Webb Mouser, Woodrow Mouser, Roy Mouser, two (2) sisters Glenda Jeffrey, Essie Whitener, two (2) grandchildren Jamey Mouser, Daniel Mouser, and one (1) great-grandchild Ethan Jordan.

Elmer rarely met a stranger and he was of the Christian Faith. Elmer loved going to auctions and was always looking for a good bargin. Moving to Doniphan in 1979, he worked at Vitronic, until his retirement and return to the family farm in Marquand. He spent his life raising cattle, tending a large garden and those who knew him knew he loved cutting thistles.
