Emery I. Hill was born on September 15, 1925 at Albia, Iowa the son of Chancey James and Jessie Mae (Funk) Hill and passed away on July 10, 2013 at his residence in Fredericktown at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Geraldine Burkhart Hill whom he was united in marriage to on November 9, 1943, his second wife Beulah Miller Hill whom he was united in marriage to on February 4, 1995, and one son Paul J. Hill. He is survived by children Shirley F. Davis of Jackson, Missouri, Jessie A. Grubbs, of Perryville, Missouri, and Enos I. Hill of Essex, Missouri , twelve (12) grandchildren, thirty-four (34) great grandchildren, and eighteen (18) great-great grandchildren.
